Bookings
- We recommend that you book Galapagos boats at least 6 months ahead of the departure date. Please note that Galapagos is one of the most visited places in the world and considering that it is a National Park there are certain rules that regulate the number of passengers that enter the islands, in order to protect this unique ecosystem.
- To confirm your booking, a 30% deposit is required. Full payment is required 60 days prior to the excursion departure date.
- The prices quoted may be subject to change due to: currency fluctuation, fuel costs, local transport costs, taxes or fees for services such as landing taxes or embarkation, or dis-embarking fees at ports or airports, governmental actions. We will absorb amounts of up to 2% of the trip cost. Amounts over this will be passed on to you, though if this means more than a 10% increase in your trip cost you are entitled to cancel your booking and claim a full refund, providing that such a claim is made within 7 days of notification.
Payments
You can make payments with:
- Cash (US dollars)
- Travellers cheques
- A wire transfer or deposit in US Dollars into our US and Ecuador bank accounts.
- By credit card through Pay-Pal, adding an additional 6.5% to the total cost of the services
Cancellations and Penalties
Cancellations made between 120 and 60 days prior to the departure date – deposit refunded minus US$150 cancellation fee per person.
Cancellations made between 59 and 30 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the total excursion rate will be charged.
Cancellations made between 29 and 0 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the total excursion rate will be charged.
In case of Galapagos and Rainforest, deposits and payments will be refunded only if we are able to resell the spaces. This refund will be made after the end of the cruise and will depend on the negotiation with suppliers.
Cancelations for medical reasons will only have a 50% penalty and requires the presentation of a medical certificate and management approval.
